We offer 1-2-1 nutritional consultations to people who are concerned about their health and their diet.

During the 1-2-1 consultation, the therapist will discuss with you in more detail your health and medical history and family medical history, as well as exploring your lifestyle and eating habits and your current symptoms and concerns and explore the goals you would like to achieve.

Based on your unique requirements, a plan will be developed that suits your lifestyle and will allow you to achieve your health goals. This may include dietary changes, lifestyle adjustments and some natural healing protocols. All suggestions will be discussed and agreed and a plan put in place.

We understand that changing diet can be challenging. This is why we encourage you to take it a step at a time. Decide what you want to do, the pace that suits you and begin to make the changes that will transform your health and energy. We will help you put together a realistic nutritional plan based on vitalistic raw food nutrition that will fit into to your hectic daily lifestyle. We will give you ideas on food choices, menu plans and give continuous on-going support.

Initial consultations last 60 minutes, and follow-up consultations (usually 4 weeks later) last 30 minutes.
You will be asked to do your best to follow the agreed recommendations on your plan between your two appointments, making the appropriate changes to your dietary habits, and be prepared to discuss your results at the follow-up appointment.

The Importance Of Enzymes In Our Diet

Cooked foods contain no enzymes while living uncooked foods are full of them. There are two types of enzymes at work in the body, digestive ones and metabolic ones. Digestive ones help with the breakdown of food and the harder the food to digest the more of these it need to break it down. Metabolic enzymes are responsible for all other activity in the body, including renewal and repair of old or damaged cells.

When we eat a diet of cooked and processed foods, with no enzymes, our body has to produce all of its own enzymes to digest this food often resulting in a lot of the repair work on the cells been left undone which may lead to dis-ease. When we eat foods that are hard to break down our body diverts more enzymes to digestion and less to metabolic activities resulting in a lot of the repair work not being completed properly. If however we eat a diet high in enzymes like living uncooked foods then we are adding enzymes to our digestive system, so now the body can divert more of its own enzymes to functions like renewal and repair of damaged cells all around the body.
